Almost Corner Bookshop
This independent English Bookshop is located in Rome’s lively district of Trastevere, in Via del Moro 45. Selling books only in English, it is one of the most famous bookshops among expats and Roman English-speaking population. This bookshop is located in the city center, between busy Via del Corso and Spanish Steps, in Via della Vite 102. It is one those rare streets in the city center that are not packed with tourists and multinational brands, but small boutiques, a couple of restaurants and finally a bookshop where you can find almost anything. Anglo-American Book offers variety of books in English starting from academic ones to novels, classics, poetry etc. What a relief to know a place like this in Rome!

La Feltrinelli International is part of an Italian chain La Feltrinelli. International section is devoted to books in languages other than Italian. Located near Piazza Barberini, more precisely in Via Orlando 84/86, the area is well connected and easy to reach. Visit this bookshop; explore different sections for every language you speak and you will leave handful! La Feltrinelli in Corso Vittorio also has a section of books in English and other languages. This specific Feltrinelli has a café within the store and it is a great place to read seated sipping on your afternoon cappuccino or you can even have a lunch there!

Open Door Bookshop
Located in Trastevere’s well-known piazza Santa Maria di Trastevere, more precisely in Via della Lungaretta 23, this bookshop is slightly different from the previous ones. It is run by a family for around 40 years now. That in itself is a reason to visit a bookshop! Also, Open Door bookshop sells second-handed books; it is actually the only second-hand English bookstore in Rome. You can get amazing deals on fiction books that rotate frequently so it is easy to become a regular here!
The Little Reader
This bookshop for children, cafe and meeting place for mums and dads is located in Via Conte Verde 66 (near Piazza Vittorio Emanuele). Here you will find books in English and Italian, a cafe with American treats and most importantly, educational and interesting events for the youngest ones, in both English and Italian.
